Tonight will be a night I will remember for the rest of my life. I went out ALONE (1st Mistake) trying to explore South London. Nobody warned me of the dangers of wandering alone. After Tila’s show tonight at Strawberry Moons, she went to the hotel to rest but I wanted to meet up with some friends I made while here. So I took a wrong turn & was mugged by 4 bandits. They took EVERYTHING! Credit Cards, I.D., Room Keys, etc. All except my passport. So, I flagged down two Police Officers who kindly drove me to the police station. I was interrogated for 20 minutes when 2 undercover cops asked me to take a ride to the scene of the crime. The same 4 idiots were at the exact location where they held me up at knife point robbing some other innocent bystander!  **SILVER LINING** SO the officers arrested the assailants & held them captive until they took down every one’s rendition of how they were assaulted by the same four criminals.4 hours later, 6 coffee’s (MIND YOU I NEVER DRINK COFFEE), & a brain full of mixed emotions, I’m now back in my hotel room still in shock of the events that just happened. I asked the officers if this happened often & they said unfortunately, it does.

Now the purpose of this post is not to scare any of my GEMS that have yet to visit the UK, London specifically. Rather, I wanted to share my experience with you all because I want you to LEARN from it, as I have. While visiting a foreign country, never EVER go anywhere where you’re not familiar with alone. Predators of this sort pray on foreigners that don’t have a clue as to where they’re at.

I had to learn this the hard way.

Mind you, I’ve been just about every part of the world with Tila this year alone & nothing like this has EVER happened.

I can’t say it ever will again but I can assure you that I will never put myself in a situation like that ever again!

The good thing is that I wasn’t hurt & the bad guys are sitting behind bars tonight.

I have yet to recuperate my stolen property & to be honest, a bit of my pride is lost in all this.

However, a little pride lost is better than a life lost.

Material things can be replaced but some one’s life cannot.

Thus, I feel I made the right choice by not putting up a fight.

Getting the authorities involved was the wisest decision I could have made.

As of now, the detectives said I may have to return to the UK if the case goes to trial!

You know what that means? I’ll be making a double cameo in LONDON this year! OUI OUI OUI!!!

To bring this post to a close, I decided to share pictures with you of ALL the amazing things London has to offer!

I’ve had a blast of sightseeing, club hopping, & dining in the most FABULOUS places I’ve ever visited!
