A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of styling Vanessa Lengies AKA Kelly Epson from TNT’s Hit Series “HawthoRNe” for a fashion spread inside MAMI Magazine!

Many of you might remember Vanessa from when she played a teenage gymnast in the movie “STICK IT!”

Vanessa is now playing more serious roles as she takes on the character of Kelly Epson, an optimistic nurse who’s hopeful & believes everything will turn out with a positive outcome.

I wanted to do something different in terms of wardrobe for Vanessa.

I’ve been known to tap into the “EDGY” side of fashion a lot so my goal was to portray Vanessa as soft & feminine as possible.

Thus, I resorted to 2 of my favorite designers at the moment; David Alexander & Black Halo.

They clothes definitely captured the essence of what photographer Kate Szatmari www.kszphotos.com was looking for.
