I was too young to understand what “I LOVE YOU” really meant back then, but now, after experiencing real love, this song does so much more for me.
Originally, the song was intended for Jennifer Lopez to record but as much as I love Jenny Lo, I’m glad Faith Evans decided to put it out before J-Lo did.
& the stud in the video is none other than my dear friend singer/songwriter Steph Jones. Check out his tunes, too! AMAZING vocalist!

A picture of Nicki Minaj from the upcoming June Issue of Vibe Magazine circulated the Internet today!
I LOVE what her stylist, Fatima B did for this shoot!
But I couldn’t help but to notice that Nicki is rocking the same pair of Gaspar Gloves I used for the Tatyana Ali Krave Magazine back in March of this year only Nicki is wearing the black version for Vibe Magazine.
Both women are undeniably GORGEOUS but it just goes to show you that great fashionista minds think alike!

Last week, I had the opportunity to work with “Vampire Diaries” actress, Candice Accola, for an upcoming 8 page style spread in Regard Magazine.
I wanted to feature one of my favorite cocktail dress designers, Dalia McPhee www.daliaonline.com, & showcase the various ways her line can be worn!
I took your average dress & transformed each one of them into a life of their own!
We tried the Avant Garde look, the Grecian Goddess Look, The “Up-”Town” Girl Look, The 1940′s Glam Look, & the EMPOWERING woman look & many more on Candice & she looked STUNNING in every one of them!

I was going through my MySpace Profile ( WHO DOES THAT NOWADAYS ) & stumbled upon a blog a wrote about my life 4 years ago!
Ironically, it still pertains to my life today only now, its validated even MORE!
Here’s what I wrote back in 2006:
I’ve been bashed, abused, stepped on, and at times confused but through it all, I’ve overcome some pretty challenging obstacles. A person may wonder why their path in life may be so non-straight forward but it’s only to help you experience and learn, especially from one’s own mistakes. Without suffering, there would be no compassion and I myself am learning this just now. Its taken me so long to realize this because I thought I needed a special someone in my life to complete me…to make me whole and complete. This is a common mistake that men and women make repeatedly because they allow that person to have complete power and they end up taking control over their mind, body, and soul. The best advice I can give you ladies and gentlemen is this…NO ONE…AND I MEAN ABSOLUTELY NO ONE CAN LOVE AND RESPECT YOUR MIND, BODY, AND SOUL MORE THAN YOURSELF. That being said, find love from within you before even thinking of trying to love another. You can’t LEARN to love someone if that’s what you’re thinking and you can’t love someone to LEARN either. You have to take risks but not ones that might risk losing everything you’ve ever worked for. Everyone will eventually be privileged enough to experience love at least once in their lives but you must know now that things as important as love can’t be rushed or tampered with. It’s like breathing…it has to come naturally. I was a person that thought they were in love because I had someone that cared about me a lot. It was only later that I figured out that the only person really in love was in fact the other person. Now, when I finally told this person that I no longer wished to affiliate with them, they warned me that I was never going to find anyone as good as them because that person had been the best thing to have ever happened to me and that no one would treat me better or the same! Boy were they wrong because I did find someone better and that person is me. I’ve found myself and still am each day that passes. And you know what?!? I’m glad I did because I’ve never been better. So to conclude this never ending passage, I wish to send a strong message to all of you who read this….you don’t need to be in a relationship to feel secure and reassured about yourself. YOU ALL ARE EACH PHENOMENAL INDIVIDUALS WHO CAN ACHIEVE ANYTHING YOU PUT YOUR MIND TOO!!! And don’t you ever forget it….

Coming to New York wasn’t as easy it seems!
You see, we missed our flight thanks to the paparazzi that awaited Tila Tequila as we arrived at LAX Airport.
We missed our scheduled flight and had to get on the next available one!
Talk about a CHANGE OF PLANS!
Anyhow, while we waited to board our new flight, everyone took notice to Ms. Tila’s ensemble that I put together for her!
I wanted Tila to be New York Chic yet comfortable while we traveled so I choose this fabulous Natalia Romano hooded coat synched with a Burberry Belt as the staple piece in this outfit! I finished it off with a bondage skirt by Herve Leger, Versace Platform Heels, & A Louis Vuitton Bag!
NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL TRAVELING CHIC!
So far, all the passerbys have taken a liking to Ms. Tila’s new hair do & fashion sense!

I’ve been caught wearing it, the models I style for fashion spreads have been seen wearing them, & now, Nicki Minaj has been spotted ROCKIN’ the Holster Strap trend!
Many of you GEMS know that I work closely with Fatima B, Nicki Minja’s wardrobe stylist.
Fatima was in Los Angeles recently & asked me to help her pull some military inspired pieces for Nicki’s “Massive Attach” Music Video.
I immediately thought about my new luggage sponsor, Mbarqgo http://www.mbarqgo.com/, as most if not all of their pieces are of military/secret agent inspired.
It’s like traveling chic as a High Fashion spy!
Check out the style spreads I’ve recently worked on that also include Mbarqgo’s popular Holster Strap appropriately named the “Toast!”
I attached a removable white Pistol Holster to add that extra military effect for both Richard Medina & Nicki Minaj’s projects.

Last week, the Oxygen network aired Season 4 of the Bad Girls Club Reunion SHOW!
Many of you were anticipating this epidsode because you knew I styled 2 of this seasons notorious Bad Girls, Kendra & Natalie Nunn.
For the reunion, I wanted to show a more fashionable side to both young ladies.
Thus, I chose an off white Ashlee Jay Tuxedo tunic Dress for Kendra which I adorned with tons of Pearls from my kit! I glammed up her look with lace nylons & topped it off with a pair of strappy Christian Louboutin Heels! DIVINE!
For Natalie, we went for a harsher yet very high Fashion look! So, we decided to turn a simple black H&M dress into a Balmain inspired piece by attaching shoulder pads, a few chains by the Laurel Luxe Jewelry line, a bracelet by Alisha, sheer nylons, a FABULOUS Forever 21 Necklace Chocker & a pair of this seasons booties by Velvet Angels! SUPERB!
While in the dressing room, the girls & I had some time to play around with the SB Shades I wear a lot! Check out the funky ones Natalie is wearing in the 1st picture of this post! SPLENDID!
I had a lot of fun being on set with these ladies as they were feisty yet a pleasure to work with.

Last night, I had the pleasure of styling Dancing With the Stars Celebrity, Karina Smirnoff, for the new Miley Cirus movie premiere, “Last Song.”
I wanted to give Karina a look that would definitely turn heads on the red carpet so I chose designer Natalia Romano’s beige ruffled mini dress and, of course, Velvet Angel Shoes, for her show stopping ensemble!
