In loving memory of my best friend Bert Jeffery…
This past week, I lost one of the people closest to my heart; my best friend of 7 years, Bert Jeffery.
Bert had been battling cancer for the past 2 years and being the fighter that he was, he held in there for as long as he could until God decided to take him home.
I can’t even write this without crying but I am trying to be strong as he would always tell me, “Get it together, Ms. Suncin!”
I can still hear his voice, telling me how proud he was of everything we had accomplished together and how excited he was to finish school so that we could go into business together.
Although that won’t be happening anymore, I will keep Bert’s legacy going.
I still remember the day we met, in the summer of 2004. I was straight out of High School and he was finishing up his senior year.
It was an instant connection as we each had “go-getter” attitudes about our careers, were fashionably inclined, and shared a passion for life that is almost nonexistent nowadays.
Our relationship wasn’t always on the upside.
We had our moments when we argued, fought, & disagreed as normal friendships have.
Nevertheless, as stubborn as we were, we both eventually came to our senses and realized we had each invested way too much time into our friendship to give up on it.
I am broken. Torn. Completely discombobulated over the fact that I will never get to hear his voice, laughter or the charismatic way he always put me in my place, again. He was more than a friend to me. He was a partner, a loyal companion and saying that I’m truly going to miss him is an understatement.
This Holiday season, I want you ALL to appreciate the loved ones that you each have in your lives.
If you haven’t seen or spoken to someone you had a falling out with, reach out to them and work your differences out.
Life is too short and too precious to allow small things come in the way of a bond that you care for.
I refuse to say goodbye to my best friend Bert Jeffery. After his service & seeing all the different personalities come together as one to remember such a young soul truly touched my heart. I know many of them felt guilty as much as I do for not being able to say goodbye properly. But he knew where our hearts were. & I know he’s looking down at all of us right now wishing we would stop crying & start celebrating his life. He impacted all of us in different ways but the love he had for each of us was undeniable. I’ll always carry him in my spirit each day I live.
I love and WILL always LOVE you Bert Jeffery Wyatt. May you rest in peace.
May God Bless You,
Antonio Suncin

Evelyn Lozada’s 36th Birthday Ensemble!
While in Miami last week, I had the opportunity to dress Evelyn Lozada for her 36th Birthday Bash!
I wanted to essenctuate Ms. Lozada’s amazing figure with a dress that was chic but still sexy!
Thus I opted for this nude/sheer Jovanni dress from his Holiday 2011 Collection.
I topped off the look a pair of Christian Louboutin nude “Daffodil” shoes.
What do you GEMS think of Eve’s look?

Imoshion Vegan Leather Handbags
I’m OBSESSED with this new handbag line I recently discovered!
IMOSHION (Pronounced EYE MOTION) is a handbag line that is super trendy, super affordable, & best of all, made out of 100% Vegan materials!
A rare comodity in an age when most designer purses are made out of the rarest of animal skins.
IMOSHION’s PR director, Deavan, personally gifted me this FAB “Joby” bag!
I’ve been carrying it since L.A Fashion week started & haven’t stopped carrying it!
Check them out in select Nordstroms Department Stores and at www.zappos.com!
Samaria Smith’s Sweet 16 Soiree!
Last month, I dressed Samaria Smith, daughter of legendary Rapper/Actor LL Cool J and jewelry desinger Simone I. Smith, for her Sweet 16 soiree!
The young model on the rise wanted to wear two all white ensembles to her fiesta!
Thus, she sat with the Betsey Johnson design team to come up with the concept for her 1st dress; a strapless “sweet heart” cut white dress with a tulle skirt! GORG!
Then, I pulled a white “Kylie” Cutout Sheath Dress from my friends at Black Halo for Samaria’s 2nd wardrobe change of the night!
